Anna Lapwood is one of the most exciting figures in classical music today. Organist, conductor and broadcaster, she made history as the first female Organ Scholar in the 560-year history of Magdalen College, Oxford, before becoming the youngest ever Director of Music at an Oxbridge college when she joined Pembroke College, Cambridge in 2016. Awarded an MBE in the 2024 New Year Honours and named in the 2025 Sunday Times Young Power List, she is now the official organist of the Royal Albert Hall, where she has collaborated with the likes of Florence + the Machine, Raye, Bonobo and AURORA.
Anna has introduced the organ to millions through her hugely popular social media videos, and her live performances pair classical repertoire with her own cinematic arrangements of film music, from Pirates of the Caribbean to The Lord of the Rings. Her albums Luna (2023) and Firedove (2025), both released on Sony Classical, each reached number one on the Official Classical Artist Albums Chart. Expect a night that is virtuosic, warm-hearted and wonderfully accessible.
